Brazil's Federal Public Debt, which includes both the domestic and the external debt, rose 3.17% in nominal terms in March, reaching $1.028 trillion, the National Treasury reported today (April 24). About $989.7 billion of the total amount accounts for domestic debt.

According to the Annual Borrowing Plan (PAF), the country's public debt may close out this year somewhere between $1.096 trillion and $1.160 trillion.
