Planning Minister Romero Jucá said on Monday (May 23) afternoon that he will temporarily step down on Tuesday (24) until the Public Prosecution Service comments on the complaints against him.

"I am aware that I have not committed any crime, let alone any act against the Car Wash probes," he said in an interview before leaving the Congress building.

Jucá accompanied acting President Michel Temer, who was submitting the new fiscal target proposed by the government for 2016.
