Michel Temer takes morning walk and says himself “recovered”

Brazilian president Michel Temer took a walk this morning in the gardens of Palácio do Jaburu, the presidential residence in Brasília. He commented on his state of health saying he is “very much recovered”.

The morning walk was registered by photographers and cameramen near the fence around Jaburu, on the banks of Paranoá lake.

“I feel perfect, very much recovered, thank God”, Temer replied asked by journalists on the issue of his health.  About the time of the exercising, 8:20 am, he said that “the early bird gets the worm.” Accompanied by two bodyguards, Temer walked down a walking track in Palácio do Jaburu, wearing a sport suit.

Recently, president Temer removed a probe placed after a surgery performed to unblock his urethra in Dec.13. In october, Temer had undergone another unblocking procedure. In november, he underwent an angioplastly of three coronary arteries with stents implantation. 

After an intense work schedule in the weeks before Christmas and New Year holidays, he spent the New Year in Brasília and worked without leaving the Jaburu official residence on Tuesday (Jan.2), the first business day of 2018.
