Bolsonaro released from hospital in São Paulo

He is already in the Alvorada presidential palace, in Brasília

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was released from São Paulo’s Albert Einstein Hospital. The president went to the Congonhas Airport where he proceeded to Brasília in the company of First Lady Michele Bolsonaro.

Otávio do Rêgo Barros, the president’s spokesman, said the president was taken directly to the Alvorada residential palace, with no engagements scheduled this afternoon (Feb. 13).

According to the latest medical report, issued last night (12), the president is showing good clinical recuperation, has no fever, no abdominal pain, and his lungs are also recovering. His diet is still light, with nutritional supplements being administered.

Bolsonaro had been hospitalized since January 27 to have a colostomy bag removed and his intestinal tract reconstructed.
