The new therapy implemented by Brazil’s Health Ministry combines two antiretroviral drugs in a single pill: dolutegravir and lamivudine. Some 5.6 mi tablets have been distributed.
Products will be supplied at the patient’s request. The health secretariat will receive and analyze submissions with a therapeutic indication on an outpatient basis, along with documents and prescriptions filled out and signed by a doctor.
