Brazil “counts and publishes election results on the same day—promptly, safely, competently, and transparently,” Judge Moraes said in his inauguration speech.
Following Bolsonaro’s statements, Judge Edson Fachin, head of the country’s Superior Electoral Court, restated that the Brazilian voting system is safe, transparent, and auditable.
"On October 2, Brazil will have clean, safe, peaceful and secure elections. No one and nothing will interfere with the Electoral Justice,” Minister Edson Fachin stated.
In the last 31 days, 8,951,527 applications for an electoral identity card were registered, either in person at registry offices, through the Elo system, or virtually.
“Participating in the organization of elections goes beyond the mere preparation of those involved and requires true cooperation,” Judge Edson Fachin, head of Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court declared.
