Representatives of the Kanindé and Yawanawá peoples participated in the construction of the collection and the long-term exhibition, which opened at the National Historical Museum, in Rio de Janeiro.
The exhibition will remain at the Caminho Niemeyer dome until October 9th, and in early 2023 it will move on to the Museum of Contemporary Art, also in Niterói.
Starting on Wednesday (Jul 17), Sesc Avenida Paulista, in downtown São Paulo, will feature the exhibit Gold – Minas de Ouro Serra Pelada, with still images by renowned photographer Sebastião Salgado. The exhibit is free of charge and is slated to end on November 3.
