Pre-salt reached 74.11% of the production. This is the second time the total exceeds 4 million; the first had been in January 2020, national authority ANP reported.
Brazil’s oil production in February shrank 3.8 percent from January and rose 3.5 from February 2021.
The total production of oil and gas of Petrobras averaged a daily 3 million barrels of oil equivalent in August this year. The output peak reached 3.1 million barrels in one day, in record figures.
Petrobras on Thursday (Jun 13) closed the sale of 90 percent of its stakes in Transportadora Associada de Gás S.A. (TAG) to French group Engie and Canadian fund Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ).
