Following Bolsonaro’s statements, Judge Edson Fachin, head of the country’s Superior Electoral Court, restated that the Brazilian voting system is safe, transparent, and auditable.
Among exceptions is the traveler who came from a country where there is proven to be no vaccine available and for humanitarian reasons. The decision will be sent to a referendum by the other ministers.
The leaders expressed solidarity with “the justices of the Supreme Court and their family members, as they are faced with constant threats and attacks.”
