Joel Rufino dos Santos, writer, teacher and historian, died in Rio

Historian, writer and teacher, Joel Rufino dos Santos died this morning (Sep. 4), in Rio de Janeiro, at 74. He died following complications from heart surgery he underwent on September 1st.
