Brazil’s federal revenues total $302 billion until October

A real increase was reported at 1.92%

Brazil’s federal revenues added up to $33.2 billion in October—a real (inflation deducted) decline of 0.02 percent from October 2018, the Ministry of the Economy reported today (Nov. 25).

In the ten months of the year, the amount reached $302 billion, a real growth of 1.92 percent from the same span last year.

Revenues administrated by the Federal Revenue Service, like taxes and contributions, totaled $29.9 billion in October, a real gain of 1.47 percent, and $288.77 billion from January to October, up 1.87 percent.

The revenues controlled by other agencies, like oil royalties, saw a slip in July. These revenues amounted to $2.39 billion last month, down 15.44 percent from October 2018. From January to October, this total stood at $13.36 billion—a real increase of 2.98 percent against the same period last year.
