Coach Simone Jatobá names Brazil line-up for U-17 World Cup
The Brazilians debut in the competition on Oct. 11 against Morocco

Coach Simone Jatobá has named the Brazilian line-up for the U-17 Women’s World Cup, to be played in the Indian cities of Bubanesvar, Goa, and New Bombay between October 11 and 30.

Among the 21 players called on Wednesday (Sep 21) are five newcomers from the team that won the South American championship of the category in March: goalkeeper Mariana, from Fluminense; defenders Alice, from Internacional, and Ana Beatriz, from São Paulo; and midfielders Myka, from Internacional, and Juju Harris, from Florida United.
Brazil’s debut should take place on October 11 against Morocco. Three days later, the squad are set to face the US. And, wrapping up the first phase, the Brazilian team face India on October 17.
