Casemiro shares credit for victory with Brazil´s team

After securing Brazil's 1-0 win over Switzerland on Monday (Nov. 28) at Stadium 974, midfielder Casemiro said at a press conference his first responsibility is always to defend, but if he gets the opportunity, he is ready to score goals.

"Of course, my priority is to defend and help my teammates at the back, the midfield, and sides. But if I have the opportunity to give a little pinch up front [to score goals], I think it's also important. My thought is to always be well positioned," said jersey number 5 of the Brazilian national team.

Even though he decided the match against Switzerland, the midfielder shared the credit for the victory with his teammates: "[What is] important, regardless of the goal, is to help my teammates. When you win here, everyone wins. When you lose, we all lose," he emphasized. "When you talk about the Brazilian team, you talk about a group. We do have to value the group, to value who has played, this is what matters for us to win titles."
