Brazil’s Corinthians won the 2025 Women’s Copa Libertadores, defeating Deportivo Cali (Colombia) 5-3 on penalties. The match ended 0-0 in regulation time at Florencio Sola Stadium in Banfield, Argentina, this Saturday (Oct. 18).

Corinthians secured their sixth Copa Libertadores title (2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2025). Three of these titles were won consecutively, a feat never before achieved by a Brazilian team - men’s or women’s - in the tournament’s history.

Ferroviária finishes 3rd

Saturday’s victories for Brazilian teams in the competition began early. Also playing at Florencio Sola Stadium, Ferroviária secured third place in the Women’s Libertadores by defeating Colo-Colo 1-0, with full-back Kati scoring the only goal of the match.
