CONMEBOL draws groups for 2026 Copa Libertadores
The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) drew the groups for the 2026 Copa Libertadores on Thursday (Mar. 19). Brazil will be represented by six teams in the continental competition: Flamengo, Fluminense, Cruzeiro, Corinthians, Palmeiras, and Mirassol.

Current champion Flamengo was drawn into Group A alongside Estudiantes (Argentina), Cusco (Peru), and Independiente Medellín (Colombia).
Fluminense will play in Group C against Bolívar (Bolivia), Deportivo La Guaira (Venezuela), and Independiente Rivadavia (Argentina).
Cruzeiro is in Group D with Boca Juniors (Argentina), Universidad Católica (Chile), and Barcelona (Ecuador).
In Group E, Corinthians will face Peñarol (Uruguay), Santa Fe (Colombia), and Platense (Argentina).
Palmeiras was drawn into Group F and will take on Cerro Porteño (Paraguay), Junior (Colombia), and Sporting Cristal (Peru).
Mirassol will compete in Group G against LDU (Ecuador), Lanús (Argentina), and Always Ready (Bolivia).
