Federal police interdicted nine radio stations that operated clandestinely in neighborhoods in the west side of the city of Rio de Janeiro.

According to the Federal Police (PF), in the places where the stations operated, the police identified six people who would be responsible for operating the radios.

They were taken to the PF Superintendence in Rio de Janeiro and could be held liable for the crime of clandestinely carrying out telecommunications activities, the penalty of which can exceed four years in prison.

The police actions had the participation of 50 agents and took place in the neighborhoods of Padre Miguel, Campo Grande, Santa Cruz and Muzema.
