The 18th National Technology Week, which is being held in Brasília between December 3rd and 10th, discusses today (5) the digital transformation and inclusion of young people. The panel is one of the attractions on the main stage of the event, which takes place at the Exhibition Pavilion at Parque da Cidade, in Brasília.

The Financier of Studies and Projects (Finep) presents innovations in the research and development of diagnostic kits for the identification of antigens and antibodies against covid-19.

During the day, panels on the logistics of Correios and robotics workshops will also receive visitors. The National Center for Monitoring and Alerting of Natural Disasters (Cemaden) closes the day of activities with a presentation on systems for issuing alerts on natural disasters in use in Brazil.

“The week takes place with all the existing and recommended precautions. Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) will also be present at the event. In a special space that simulates an old radio studio, the Museu da Rádio Nacional - which is usually exhibited in the company's corridors - invites visitors to discover an analog radio frequency wave station.

The stage for several innovations from the last century, such as soap operas and newsletters, the museum brings equipment and information about an era when television and the internet were not even considered, and the only means of communication - radio - stirred the imagination of listeners.

In contrast to the historical pieces, the EBC features a modern broadcast studio similar to the one used in the daily newsletter A Voz do Brasil, where visitors can watch explanations from technicians and operators on the entire process of putting up the oldest newsletter of Latin America on the air daily.

About the event, EBC president Glen Valente said that the participation of Empresa Brasil de Comunicação in the National Science and Technology Week "is very important to show factual journalism with live coverage and broadcasts. little about the history of public communication with pieces from our collection.”
