Queiroga also mentioned the Brazilian demand for supplies, especially oxygen and drugs for the so-called intubation kit, used on patients in a severe state.
The US ambassador, the health minister reported, said he was willing to contribute to talks with the industry in his country to expand the offer of oxygen, including with cylinders and trucks, in addition to the referred drugs.
Marcelo Queiroga also met with Anthony Fauci, director at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. According to a report released by the ministry, the two talked about ways to expand partnerships.
