Brazil’s sanitary authorities registered another 3,560 deaths caused by COVID-19 in Brazil from Wednesday to Thursday (Apr. 15). This brings the number of people who succumbed to the disease up to 365,444. There are also 3,514 fatalities under investigation by health teams.

The new figures can be found in the report on the pandemic by the country’s Ministry of Heath, released Thursday (15). The update combines data sent through by state health secretariats.

The statistics do not include Ceará. Due to issues feeding the system with data on the Northeastern state, the state did not communicate its number of deaths and cases registered in the last 48 hours.

The amount of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic now stands at 13,746,681. In 24 hours, 73,174 new positive diagnoses were confirmed.

Patients recovered add up to 12,236,295. Those with an active case, being monitored by health teams, total 1,144,942.
