The auctions aimed at privatizing 12 airports exceeded the minimum bids stipulated by the government at a minimum $548 million. Altogether, bids for the three blocks added up to $620 million.
The Fith Round of Production Sharing Bids in pre-salt areas ended this morning (Sep. 28) after all blocks were clinched by companies in the sector. The auction brings $1.7 billion in signing bonuses to Brazil’s government.
Brazil’s National Oil, Natural Gas, and Biofuels Agency (ANP) sold three of the four blocks offered as part of the fourth pre-salt auction, carried out today (Jun. 7). Bonuses added up to $807.7 million.
