The minimum efficiency rate recommended by Anvisa itself is 50 percent.
The planned capacity for packaging is 600 thousand to a million doses a day. The first batch should include approximately 300 thousand doses. Some 40 million doses are estimated to be produced by January.
Anvisa once again argued for the measure adopted Monday, which took into account the information known by the agency then and which were submitted to the agency by the Butantan Institute.
