The hike in fuel prices is part of the Brazilian government’s agenda in Brasília for the second day in a row. Finance Minister Eduardo Guardia and Energy Minister Moreira Franco met Petrobras CEO Pedro Parente today (May 22) to address the issue.
“The economic recession is a thing of the past,” said Brazilian Finance Minister Henrique Meirelles Friday (May 12) at a cabinet meeting on Temer's now one year long administration. The assembly was held at the Planalto presidential palace, in Brasília.
The first cabinet meeting of the second Rousseff administration took place in Brasília on Tuesday (Jan. 27), attended by all 39 ministers. President Dilma Rousseff called for austere spending and practical action against political corruption.
