Despite the devaluation of commodities, Brazil forecasts a record positive balance of $93 bi for 2023, surpassing the previous projection of $84.7 bi made in July.
Benefiting from a decline in fuel imports and a record grain harvest, the balance of trade is the best for September and is up 51.2% from the same month last year, according to the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services.
The president welcomed Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Mihn Chinh at the headquarters of Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Relations in Brasília. During the meeting, representatives of the two governments signed four bilateral agreements.
According to Haddad, this operation would enhance the security of Brazilian exporters who are concerned about possible defaults by Argentine companies.
“Meat lovers should see an increase in animal protein on the Brazilian table, especially our beloved barbecue, which is not just a meal, but part of our culture,” the head of supply authority Conab, Edegar Pretto, said in a radio interview for A Voz do Brasil.
