This increase was driven by items such as health insurance (1.20%), personal hygiene products (1.13%), and pharmaceuticals (0.89%).

With an 8.33% hike, gasoline was the sharpest impact on the index for March and weighed heavy on transportation. Ethanol surged 3.20%. Year to date, inflation was up 2.09%.
The amount was pulled chiefly by food and drinks, and stood below 2021’s 10.06%. Health and personal care expenses became 11.43$ pricier. Clothing was up 18.02%.
The greatest impacts on the month’s index stemmed from transportation (0.83%), which includes fuels, and food and beverages (0.53%)
