The Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) granted the registration for the first cannabis-based (marijuana) medicine in Brazil. Dubbed Mevatyl, the product is prescribed for the treatment of adults who suffer from spasms triggered by multiple sclerosis.
