The request is contained in a letter sent this afternoon by the Minister of Economy to the rapporteur of the 2022 Budget Bill and to the President of the Mixed Budget Committee.
"IBGE continues to work across the country in the various operational preparatory stages to deliver to Brazilian society a Demographic Census with technical quality", says a note.
The MDR also announced transfers of R$ 28 million, in resources from the General Budget of the Union, for the continuity of basic sanitation works in Salvador, Camaçari and Alagoinhas.
The resources originate from amendments by the General Rapporteur for the Budget, classified as amendments by the Rapporteur. Most, of R$ 128.3 million, would go towards promoting the agricultural sector.
The Mixed Budget Commission approved an addition of more than R$72 billion to the 2022 Budget Law Project. With the new calculation, the government is approaching fiscal balance.
