Working teams from Petrobras and the Arab fund Mubadala Investment Company will collaborate to finalize the new operational structure of the Landulpho Alves Refinery.
In a press release, Petrobras head Jean Paul Prates attributed the record to the resumption of investments made by the new management over the past year.
Petrobras conducted the drilling operation safely, following protocols for deep-water operations, and noted its commitment to respecting the population and environment.
The resumption of investment, along with the associated refining, transportation, and marketing activities, is expected to create up to 30,000 jobs by 2028.
The oil giant went from BB- to BB. According to Petrobras, the upgrade comes as a result of the agency’s better classification of Brazil, which rose to BB on Dec. 19.
