Coach Tite considered convincing Brazil's 2-0 victory over Serbia, on Thursday (Nov. 24) at Lusail Stadium, in the first round of Group G of the Qatar Cup. According to the captain of the national team, the result took a lot of pressure off the shoulders of the Brazilian team.

"In the overall context, the victory was convincing, [...]. Initially, sometimes the ball ran away and the dominance was a bit accelerated in the first half. It was not our normal pattern. In the final stage, repositioning the players, the technique improved [...]. The plays started to flow more," Tite said in a press conference after the match.

Brazil´s coach highlighted the fact that the team had entered the field only in the last game of the first round of the group stage, after the stumbling of some teams considered favorites, which, in Tite's words, created extra pressure.

According to Tite, there were several surprising results during this cup which created an expectation, but with the work done so far, the team got the confidence to continue. "In the other World Cup [in Russia in 2018] we started by drawing. [Today] a lot of pressure came out," he said.
