Oil, gas output totals 3 mi barrels a day in August

Of this amount, 2.2 million come from the pre-salt layer

The total production of oil and gas of Petrobras averaged a daily 3 million barrels of oil equivalent in August this year. The output peak reached 3.1 million barrels in one day, in record figures.

The average for pre-salt production also reported a record high in August—2.2 million  barrels of oil equivalent, with a 2,5 million apex in one day.

Barrels of oil equivalent per day is a unit used by the oil industry to calculate the amount of oil (measured in barrels) and gas (measures in cubic meters) combined.
