Agência Brasil is a public communication outlet that, since October 11, 2004, offers free radio content produced by Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) teams and partners.
Like the other outlets of EBC, its mission is to “produce and distribute content that fosters the development of critical thinking among the public.”

In line with this objective, it prioritizes coverage of public policies from the perspective of citizens, organized civil society, and public authorities (Executive, Judiciary, and Legislative)."
Agência Brasil's editorial guidelines and journalistic practices adhere to the EBC Journalism Manual.

On average, 40 articles are produced daily, along with audio content accessed by over 4,500 radio stations, reaching millions of listeners.

The English and Spanish pages of Agência Brasil bring you the most relevant stories translated by our Foreign Language Service.
