Alison dos Santos, 22, returned to the podium this Monday (8), this time in Hungary, winning the 400 meters, which is not her specialty, at the Grand Prix of Athletics in the city of Székesfehérvár.  The victory comes two days after Alison won gold in her favorite event, the 400m hurdles, in Poland at the Diamond League stage of the world track and field circuit. Bronze medalist at the Tokyo Olympics and world champion last month, Alison remains undefeated in the season, the first of the Olympic cycle until the Paris Games.

In today's race, he crossed the finish line in 45s11, second only to the winner, American Vernon Norwoord (44s96). Michael Cherry (45s42) was third with the bronze medal.

In the next few days, Alison will train in Birminghan (England), with the Nigerian Efekemo Okoro, specialist in 400 meters and 400 meters hurdles.  The Brazilian will not return to the track until September: he will compete in his favorite event on the 2nd in Brussels (Belgium) and, on the 8th, in the Diamond League final in Zurich (Switzerland).
