Alison dos Santos remains unbeatable in 2022. The Brazilian has won this Friday (2) the 400 meters hurdles in the Brussels (Belgium) stage of the Diamond League, the main athletics circuit in the world. He completed the race in 47.54 seconds. American Khallifah Rosser took second place (47.88) and Frenchman Wilfried Happio won the bronze medal (48.61), after CJ Allen (USA) was disqualified.

The Brazilian is known as Piu and won gold in the five stages he played in the Diamond League this year: Doha (Qatar), Eugene (USA), Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden) and Slask (Poland). In addition, he was world champion in Eugene, in July, with the best time of the year (46.29) and the third in the history of the 400m hurdles.

The next stage of the Diamond League will be the last of the season, between Wednesday (7) and Thursday (8), in Zurich (Switzerland). The event will bring together the best athletes of each event, based on the previous results of the circuit.
