Corinthians beat Colombia’s Santa Fe 2–0 at the Defensores Del Chaco stadium, in Asunción, Paraguay, winning the Women’s Copa Libertadores title for the fifth time. The other titles were in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023.

In doing so, the team also helped extend Brazil’s hegemony in the tournament. Considering Saturday’s victory, Brazilian teams have now won 13 titles in 16 Women’s Libertadores. Corinthians have won five times, São José three times, Santos and Ferroviária twice, and Palmeiras once.

The game

The first goal came 16 minutes into the first half, when the ball was lifted into the area for Vic Albuquerque, who controlled it with her right leg, cutting off an opponent. With her left she shot past goalkeeper Yessica Velásquez. In the second half, Érika scored with a header to put the final numbers on the scoreboard.
