Corinthians advanced to the Women's Copa Libertadores final after defeating Boca Juniors (Argentina) 1-0 at Conmebol Stadium in Luque, Paraguay, on Tuesday (Oct. 15). The so-called Brabas do Timão now await the winner of the match between Independiente Del Valle Dragonas (Ecuador) and Santa Fe (Colombia) to determine their final opponent.

Next Saturday (19), at Defensores del Chaco Stadium in Asunción, Paraguay, Corinthians will be aiming for their fifth Women's Libertadores title, having previously won in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023.

Corinthians and Boca Juniors played a very evenly matched game on Tuesday in Paraguay. Despite strong first-half play, Lucas Piccinato's side only managed to secure victory in the second half. In the 58th minute, Jaqueline made a free run down the right flank and delivered a cross into the box. Millene redirected it to Gabi Zanotti, who volleyed it in for the decisive goal.

Brazilian teams have claimed 12 titles in 15 Women's Libertadores editions. Corinthians lead with four wins, followed by São José with three, Santos and Ferroviária with two each, and Palmeiras with one.
