Tickets for the 2016 Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies were sold out Tuesday morning (Oct. 20), less than three hours after ticket sales at 10am on the official Rio 2016 website. Tickets are also sold out for the finals of handball, men's soccer, basketball and men's 100-meter swimming.

Until 12:30, there were tickets available for the women's finals of basketball and football and for several days for the finals of sports like athletics, judo, free-style wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling and fencing.
