UN Declaration
Considered the most translated document in modern history, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights turns 73 in 2021 and is available in more than 360 languages. For those responsible for Cine Educação, the document is not widely known by the world population, which raises the challenge of disseminating the declaration and, above all, of making it fully respected. For them, cinema is an important tool in reaffirming a notion of rights and social inclusion.
For its services to culture and education, Cine Educação received the Diploma Heloneida Studart Mérito Cultural 2020/21, from the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Alerj).
