Brazil’s Quina de São João lottery prize estimated at $39 million
The 12th edition of Brazil’s Quina de São João will award an estimated prize of $39 million. According to Caixa Econômica, the bank tasked with managing the contest, the draw is scheduled for June 25, during the traditional São João festival, in Campina Grande, Paraíba state.
If only one person wins the jackpot and invests the whole amount in savings, they could receive more than $250 thousand in returns after just one month. If the main group has no winner (at least five numbers guessed correctly), the prize is divided among the winners in the second group (four numbers correct), and so on.
How to bet
To place a bet on the Quina, players simply choose five to 15 numbers among the 80 available on the ticket. The minimum bet, with five numbers selected, costs $0.39.
