Brazilian coach Tite confirmed today (Jun 14) the line-up for the Brazilian squad’s World Cup opener next Sunday (17) against Switzerland. The same team that faced Austria on June 10 was chosen: Alisson, Danilo, Thiago Silva, Miranda, Marcelo, Casemiro, Paulinho, Philippe Coutinho, Willian, Neymar, and Gabriel Jesus.

In the four friendly matches in preparation for the World Cup this year, the seleção kept a solid defense and came out victorious in all of them, thus beating Russia, Germany, Croatia, and Austria. Since Tite became coach in June, 1026, Brazil has garnered 17 wins, three ties, and just one defeat, with 47 regular goals scored, and five own goals.

The Brazilian squad is to debut in the World Cup against Switzerland next Sunday, 3 pm (Brasília time) at Rostov Arena, in the city of Rostov-on-Don.
