The approval ratings of President Dilma Rousseff's administration have dropped from 10.8% to 7.7% according to the 128th MDA poll commissioned by the National Confederation of Transport (CNT/MDA) released today (July 21). The negative ratings rose from 64.8% in March to 70.9% in the latest poll carried out on July 12–16. A total 2,002 people were heard in 137 cities.

The latest results give the government the lowest approval ratings in the poll since October 1999, when the job done by then-President Fernando Henrique Cardoso was approved of by 8% of respondents.

President Rousseff's personal ratings have also dropped. In the latest poll, 15.3% of respondents said they approve of Rousseff, compared to 79.9% disapproval. Only 4.8% of people were unsure how to rate or what to answer. In March, 18.9% of respondents gave favorable personal ratings, as against 77% negative ratings and 3.4% indecisive.
