Supreme Court Chief Justice Ricardo Lewandowski, heading session of suspended President President Dilma Rousseff, accepted the point of order to vote separately the impeachment and loss of political rights.
"The separate voting of an amendment will cause no harm to the understanding of what is under deliberation. The amendment of the section to be voted separately, in my view, will will cause no harm to the prosecution, nor to the defense, since it fully abides by the decisions of the floor," he justified.
