The Brazilian basketball team has collected a series of achievements that place the country among the great forces of the sport, with three world titles already won.
The Brazilians are reaching the knockout stage with 100% record after defeating Uruguay 76–66 Monday. The clash will be held at Geraldão arena, in Recife.
On Friday (Sep. 2) Brazil defeated Canada 72-63, and on Saturday night (Sep.3) the team showed again a good performance by beating Colombia by 100-60.
The men’s fourth place and the women’s bronze medal under Copa América at São Paulo’s Paralympic Training Center are taking Brazilians to Dubai in November.
1984 was the last time Brazil hosted the competition, when it won one of its four titles. The event is scheduled to take place from 2-11 of September 2022.
