Micro and small companies accounted for 1.1 mi (or 71%) of the 1.5 mi new formal jobs created in Brazil between January and September. August and September were the most favorable, with 219,330 and 211,764 new formal jobs respectively.
Services, one of the sectors most severely hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, has shown sings of recovery and was the segment with the highest number of admissions in July.
