Banco do Brasil’s 2018 profit reaches $3.45 billion

Banco do Brasil’s net profit totaled $3.45 billion in 2018, up 16.8 percent from the year before. Figures were made public today (Feb. 14).

Revenues from services provided rose 5.8 percent to $7.37 billion from 2017.

For the credit portfolio for natural persons, an increase was reported at 7.6 percent in the 12-month period, or $3.59 billion, with personal loans having grown 44.2 percent to $1.95 billion.

Insolvency (debts over 90 days overdue) stood at 2.53 percent in December 2018.
