Additional explosives found at Brasília attacker's home
On Thursday (Nov. 14), the Military Police of the Federal District reported that explosive devices were found at the location where Francisco Wanderley Luiz had been staying in Ceilândia, approximately 30 kilometers from downtown Brasília. Francisco died on Wednesday night (Nov. 13) after detonating explosives at Three Powers Square around 7:30 p.m. His car, containing explosives, was found in a parking lot at the House of Representatives, near the Supreme Court building.
In the early hours of the morning (Nov. 14), the police bomb squad swept the area and discovered three additional devices, which were safely deactivated to ensure the safety of the agents working on the investigation led by the Federal Police and the Civil Police of the Federal District. The site and Luiz 's body were only cleared for release this morning.
