The expenses of Brazilians abroad stood at $ 1.246 billion dollars in January this year, Brazil’s Central Bank reported today (Feb. 24). The result is 80.5 percent higher than the one registered in the same period last year, when Brazilians spent US$ 690 million.

Incomes from foreigners in Brazil totaled $ 604 million dollars in the same month, an increase of 43.3 percent compared to January 2022.
