Women's Libertadores: Brazil close 1st phase undefeated

Palmeiras beat Universidad de Chile 2-1 on Thursday night (Oct 20), at Casa Blanca stadium in Quito (Ecuador), closing the initial phase of the Women's Libertadores Cup undefeated.

After this victory, the Brazilian team reached nine points, ensuring the first position in Group C. Thus, it will play against Santiago Morning (Chile), second place in Group D, in the quarterfinals of the competition. The match will take place next Sunday (23).
