The National Aeronauts Union (SNA) informed today, in a statement, that employees of the airline sector decided, in an online vote, to accept the proposal to renew the Collective Labor Agreement. Thus, the strike that would start next Monday (29) is cancelled.

The proposal was drawn up at a meeting yesterday (27) with the National Union of Airline Companies, mediated by the Superior Labor Court (TST), and with the participation of airlines.

The TST proposal foresees the immediate readjustment of 75% of the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) of the last 12 months in salaries; in addition to a 100% readjustment of the INPC for the last 12 months in national food and food vouchers. The full renewal of the other social clauses was also agreed.

There were 53.68% of votes in favor of the proposal and 45.56% of votes against, in addition to 0.76% of abstentions. In total, 6,956 crew participated.
