Avenida Paulista celebrates today (8) 130 years. To celebrate, the seven cultural institutions installed in the region make a circuit of attractions that runs until Sunday (12).

Inaugurated on December 8, 1891, at the initiative of engineer Joaquim Eugênio de Lima, Avenida Paulista is located in one of the highest regions of São Paulo, called Espigão da Paulista.

Currently, the economic hub has also become a cultural and entertainment center – it is almost three kilometers long and has seven major cultural centers and museums. All participate in the circuit in honor of the birthday girl: Casa das Rosas, Centro Cultural Fiesp, IMS Paulista, Itaú Cultural, Japan House São Paulo, Museum of Arts of São Paulo (MASP) and Social Service of Commerce (Sesc). The complete schedule can be seen on the event page .
