São Paulo celebrates anniversary with City of Future Festival
São Paulo city celebrates today (Jan. 25) its 469th anniversary with the 2nd edition of the City of the Future Festival. Its purpose is to spread the culture of innovation, presenting new means of technology, and to value the historical triangle formed by São Bento and São Francisco squares, and the School Patio.
The festival will be a forum for discussion, study, and exchange of knowledge in the areas of entrepreneurship, democracy, education, environment, and agrotech. Around 10 thousand people, among companies, startups, families and artists are expected to be at the forum.
There will be more than 40 panels totaling 400 speakers. The festival includes over two hundred hours of activities such as concerts, gastronomic fairs, street parties, seminars, artistic workshops, film exhibitions, and arts tech fairs.
The event is promoted by the São Paulo City Hall, through the Municipal Secretariat of Innovation and Technology.
