Vice-President Geraldo Alckmin diagnosed with COVID-19
He has mild symptoms and is doing well

Brazil’s vice-President and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services Geraldo Alckmin has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The information was confirmed by his press office. Due to the condition, he will not be taking part in any appointments this Monday (Apr. 1).
“The vice-president has mild symptoms and is doing well. He will remain at home for a speedy recovery, in accordance with medical recommendations,” his press office told the press Sunday evening (31).
